Jefferson County Area Agency Invites You to a Listening Session on Pennsylvania\u2019s Master Plan for Older Adults"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Jefferson County AAA will host a listening session on the Pennsylvania\u2019s Master Plan for Older Adults <strong>\u2013 <\/strong>a 10-year, state-led and stakeholder-driven strategic plan designed to help transform the infrastructure and coordination of services for older Pennsylvanians<span>.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>The master plan will also reflect the needs and<span>\u00a0<\/span>preferences of<span>\u00a0<\/span>this population<span>\u00a0<\/span>to live<span>\u00a0<\/span>where they choose and access the supports they need to thrive and age in place.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The listening session will take place on <span style=\"color: #008000\">Wednesday August 23, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Heritage House Senior Center 4 Sylvania Street Brookville, PA 15825.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Stakeholders, older adults and people living with disabilities, their families, caregivers and community leaders are invited to hear an overview of the plan and why such a plan is needed for Pennsylvania. There will be opportunities for those in attendance to provide comments and input on the plan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Those interested in attending the listening sessions should RSVP by calling 814-849-3096 or email to <a href=\"mailto:info@jcaaa.org\">info@jcaaa.org<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Individuals who are unable to attend can still provide input on the plan.
