Help Finding an Caregiver
The Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging supports older adult consumers and their families to seek out a caregiver or aide to provide services in their home.

Transportation
The Shared Ride program will provide transportation and cover costs for scheduled dentist, diagnostic test, dialysis treatment, doctor’s office visits, specialists, hospital visits, pharmacy, physical therapy, surgical and to nearest senior center. Age 65 and older.

Protective Services
Safeguards the rights of older adults through training, information, educational programs and provides services to eliminate harmful actions to the older person and their property. Reports can be taken 24 hours a day by calling 800-852-8036.

Hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming. Some light housekeeping may be included.

Provides the set-up of medications by a Registered Nurse through a Home Health Agency to help consumers manage their health care needs.

in their community; includes Administrative, Ombudsman, Apprise and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.
